meet the band on opening night

has anyone ever met the band on opening night of a tour?

i'm wondering what time i should to get to the arena in san diego. thanks

I met the band on the final night of the Joshua Tree Tour. Right before they left for the show. Dec 20, 1987

They should come out and greet the fans. I have a feeling Larry might even walk out greet fans considering what happened with the ticket fiasco.

I remember Bono coming out to meet fans during the rehersals for ZOOTV tour. So go hang out outside the arena where they are rehersing over the next few weeks.

None of those fans got tickets!

yeah only adam came out on opening night of the elevation tour... though bono's car drove by with him waving out the window.

generally, though, at least one or two of them will come out afterwards. but be prepared to wait three hours, sometimes more. and there's no guarantees.
