How is ETS different from a scalper? Are they completely legitimate.

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

Platimum night out and ticket price is $329 for premium seats for Philly II. Face value of ticket is $165ish. I'm assuming the night out pre-party includes food (alcohol????), which makes it a $165 pre-party. Is this a good deal and are they completely legit. It seems weird that you have to attend the pre-party to pick up your tickets. Or is that their way of keeping scalpers and brokers from getting these tickets? Any info is appreciated.

ETS is an official sponsor of the tour as they were for Elevation. They are legit.

They are a package deal company, you get more than just the ticket with their offers.

IMO, ETS is different than any other scalper because they legitimately accessed their tickets (allocated by U2 management) and presumably have a reasonable cap set on their markup. I bought from them on Elevation for Miami 1&2. They came through with the tickets for certain. They screwed up the hotel booking pretty royally and the Nite-out was weak. Alcohol was not included in the price, but it was at a bar where you could pay for drinks. Buffet food was served, nothing spectacular but more than chips and dip. The transportation to and fro was great, however and worth paying for -- no worries on traffic, parking, finding the arena, etc. Despite what they tell you, in reality, you are paying more than face for the ticket. If they were selling them for face, they would be sold out just like the box office. They are also selling an "experience". Whatever.
