From 2nd March to 17 March - that's a decent amount of time off... wonder if we'll see any new songs as a result...practice time or resting time?????

I doubt they're rehearsing. This is U2, not Dream Theater - in other words, they don't spend six hours practicing their instruments daily. They spend twenty-four hours a day on holiday though.

yeah its been a couple weeks since they had a vacation, poor guys

im sure theyre on a beach somewhere

Just wait for the people to come in and say U2 deserve another holiday. :|

Wow, they played eight 2 hour shows over the period of half a month to crowds of 50,000-77,000 adoring fans. What a tough life. :|

You can rehearse songs at the beach, too.

"Oh, look at that, now Edge has sand in his guitar ... and Bono's frolicking in the waves ... and Adam's digging sand for a sandcastle with his specially designed sand spoon ... guess we won't be rehearsing Mofo any time soon."
