My vote goes for Minneapolis...

Why?

The Ocean
Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses
The First Time
Crumbs From Your Table
Miss Sarajevo

What makes Minneapolis even specialer is that they chose to debut a song there, without warning! Crumbs From Your Table is the rarity that you thought you'd never hear.

But honestly, how many times on the next tour are we gonna hear The Ocean, The First time, Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses? Sure we didn't get Zoo Station / The Fly, but that's what the DVD is for. You'll never see Crumbs live like we did, only the great stories and audio of it. And what about The Ocean... that'll go back into the vault next time...

The closer could have been better, but Vertigo X2 is what made the European shows great, and sent the crowd nuts -- so we got to experience that!

Basically the main point I'm making is in addition to Miss Sarajevo, and the Ocean, the rest of the songs hadn't been played in full since 1992, and after 13 years, they were. How many people have been WAITING to hear The First Time, as not a snippet into Bad, or after?

I've read a lot of setlists so far, but Minneapolis sticks out really nice... it has so much variation to it, much more colorful.

The first time that :

-First Time was played in a stadium
-Desire was played on the V tour
-All I want is you closed a concert in the tour

What a show  Watta night

Obviously, the best show so far must be... [insert a show you've been to]

No kidding. It question should be, "What was the best boot/show/etc that you DIDN'T attend?"

Maybe DC 2:

The Electric Co.
Out of Control
Walk On
Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses
Bad

I wasn't there, but I wish I could have gone.

For me, 9/20 and 9/21 (Chicago) were amazing.

9/20:
Fantastic version of Electric Co
Walk On (Bono's lyric issue was great)
Discotheque!
The best version of The Fly I've ever heard
The First Time

9/21:
Great acoustical version of WGRYWH
The amazing performance that was Bad / The First Time
Awesome version of Fast Cars
Larry taking Bono's hat and walking off stage at the end

Actually they always played OOTS as a full band , though before it was an acoustic perf , but still the 4, so the change it was that Edge went for the guitar , so I would say full electric band version

Ive only been to the Phila shows this tour so I have got to say the 10/16-10/17 shows were off the hook!

5/22 in Philly was the only show I went to, and it was wonderful. Good set too...

The Ocean
Gloria
WOWY
Ultraviolet snippet

But I agree that Minneapolis was probably the best stop of the tour, setlist-wise anyway.

Vegas 2.... hands down! I know a lot of people who would agree.

Correct answer.

As for Europe, I hear over and over from hardcore U2 fans who saw many many shows last year that Dublin 2 & 3 were the best shows they had seen.

I agree with jag0918. Philly 10/17 was awesome. The band had the most energy out of any show I went to. The crowd was crazy and need I say more than Bruuuuce.

Minneapolis setlist, September 23rd, 2005:

City Of Blinding Lights
Vertigo
Elevation
The Electric Co.
The Ocean
I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
Beautiful Day
Miracle Drug
Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own
Love And Peace Or Else
Sunday Bloody Sunday
Bullet The Blue Sky
Miss Sarajevo
Pride (In The Name Of Love)
Where The Streets Have No Name
One

The First Time
Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses
With Or Without You

All Because Of You
Crumbs From Your Table
Yahweh
Vertigo

I think what would have made it better, had 40 or Bad closed the show. In addition, I think Out Of Control after Elevation would have been great. Even New Year's Day would have been cool to see...

City Of Blinding Lights
Vertigo
Elevation
The Electric Co.
The Ocean
New Year's Day
I Still Haven't Found...
Beautiful Day
Miracle Drug
Sometimes...
Love And Peace
Sunday Bloody Sunday
Bullet...
Miss Sarajevo
Pride...
Where The Streets...
One

First Time
Wild Horses
With Or Without You

All Because Of You
Crumbs
Yahweh
Bad

Dublin 3's setlist was great...

Take out Vertigo X2... and that's a great setlist.

Argentina 2!!!!!!!!!!!!
Incredible!!!!

What a night! What a show! What a crowd!

Im too lazy to go digging through my bootlegs

Was the Wild Horses they played at Minneapolis full band?

If not, I'd have to go with Amsterdam. The Wild Horses on that show is to frickin die for. Edge!!!

Wild Horses was played in Minneapolis full band, but with an acoustic guitar.
Amsterdam 3 electric version rules them all.
