There seems to be lots of confusion about the area in front of the stage. From all the picutres I've seen of other stadium concerts, there is always a separate section at the front. So we can assume it will be the same in Australia. In the USA it was based on a lottery system on the day of the concert. It it the same here? Or is it first in best dressed? If this is the case what time do you all think is the best time after 9am to get to Telstra stadium?

The US system DOES NOT APPLY in Australia. As you said, they had the enclosed ellipse with a lottery. However, in Europe, there were two separate, disconnected b-stages linked to the main stage, and a security barrier a bit further back created an "inner zone" around the b-stages and an outer zone for the rest of the field. This is the system we'll have here and it's first come, first served.
