That was pretty neat how they used the lighting around the arena. Was it me or did Bono voice sound a little ruff? Was it like that the whole show? It seemed to sound better with SYCMIOYO. Can't wait for the DVD.

Yes it seemed like there were a lot of interference people on the show which is a cool thing to see and the songs themselves were great I officially cant wait for the DVD now!

Probably right...but the BDay performance on 5/9 had a lot more energy. Bono worked the ellipse and even leaned into the crowd. Knox has a nice video of this.
So, they may put some energetic points from 5/9 in...but this is just my wish.

The lighting in the arena was awesome. On 5/7 they didn't use it. Then, I come on 5/9 and I'm like wow , what an addition. Then, they used it again on 5/10....so of course I brag about it to my friends who are going with me on 5/12 and of course the lights are not being used

I suck. I was too lazy to get out of bed, even to get the phone at 7:30 when my mom called me to tell me it was on. TOTALLY forgot that it was Friday today. I was all, "who the hell is calling me this early in the morning!!??!" Ooops.

I'm glad I set mine for 7:30-9. Otherwise, I would have missed the performances.

Hopefully, that will be me going embarrassingly nuts when I get into the ellipse in Toronto.

Yes, it was just used for the taping on 5/9 and 5/10, but boy did it add to the ambiance.

5/12 was awesome. After seeing all 4 in Chicago, I thought 5/10 was the best (in terms of energy and performance). However, certain songs were better on 5/9 than on 5/10, so I am not sure what they'll do for the entire DVD.

5/12 was the most unique in terms of the setlist.

After looking back I can't really tell which on was the best. Perhaps someone should start a poll for all 4 Chicago shows

The weekend show of GMA begins at 0800 hrs. EST so I imagine the U2 footage would occur around 0830 hrs. EST. 2 songs will be performed.

It was from the tenth from what I saw. I was there also can see myself and the very end of Vertigo if I hit slow, pause, slow, pasue, etc on my vcr otherwise there is no way of seeing. The interview portion was probably at least a half hour to an hour before they showed the concert footage.

When I saw the girl cough and blame Bono for her cold, I knew it was an interferencer, cuz I heard that story. First person that came to mind was Ruffian! Thanks for confirming in u2girl1978! Ok, back to the TV!

Excellent point...I was in the ellipse 5/9 and totally forgot about this. You are right! During that show, I said darn, even though I'm in front it probably won't be on video because of that one strand of lights.
