I just returned from California after spending some time with some friends, and going to Oakland for the first Tool arena show on their latest tour.
Not to give anything away if anyone here is going, but the show was fantastic.
These guys are to playing an absolutely perfect audible show as U2 are to botching lyrics. (read: very good at it.)
In any event - the show was visually spectacular, not only because I was in the front row on the floor, but because you could tell it was a band who cared about what their show looked like, but did not have the millions it takes to put on a huge spectacle. Really well done.
I digress - without giving away the design, the reason for my post was because yes, our dear friend the MiSphere is utilized in this show. Although I kind of wished this product would quietly disappear after the Vertigo tour, I guess there are other clients looking for its use...
