OCTOBER is very pleased to announce that have been chosen by U2's Official Tour and Travel Operator to provide entertainment at ETS Nite Out parties exclusively across Canada as part of U2's Vertigo Tour. ETS has been the Official Tour Operator for U2 for five consecutive world tours and they know their tribute bands! OCTOBER are very pleased to have been chosen to entertain fans from Canada and abroad at these very special events with high tech audio visual light shows previously launched in the spring leg of the tour!

Dates so far include September 12, 14, 16, 17 in Toronto; November 25 in Ottawa and November 26 and 27 in Montreal.

There will be a prizes and surprises. We will have an announcement shortly on special prices for OCTOBER fans and friends. The 4 U2 shows will of course be the main events of the this year's festival but we are planning a few special parties of our own and our ITH website will be everyone's *tour guide* for all U2 events in Toronto during Vertigo Week.

Prizes: 2 free tickets to see u2 anywhere in North America on the 3rd
leg courtesy of ETS the U2 official fan pre-party destination, plus
posters and others.
Doors open at 5 pm.

o As space in the Atomic Jam is limited please email Sam B

instrument and if you’re hitting the stage in a group or going solo.
o Choice of song is first come, first served.

the atomic jam is gonna be like live band karoke/open jam and u2 tribute show...

we will have a live band backing u up if u want to sing...

we also have people who are gonna come up an play some accoustic stuff. anything goes realy....

we will have the guys from local tribute band October playing some tuines as well as Bradry and Kevin from Elevation also palying a few tunes...its gonna be u huge u2 love fest.

We have a Makepovertyhistory.ca banner that is going from one end of the country to the next and I am trying to get as many signatures
as possible. This banner will hopefully be presented to the Prime Minister when I go to Ottawa in late November. The reason for the signature ot show that we want to end Poverty on a global and national level. Currently we have about 2,000 signatures with more to come. Right now the banner is here with me in Alberta and we already have had our website linked to sites such as:

The Kash End of Summer Dash is scheduled for Saturday, August 27, 2005




The 1-km kid's fun run starts at 3:00 p.m. and the 10-km adult run starts at 4:00 p.m.




The pre-race registration fee for the 10-km is $30, and race day registration is $35 or free for those who get $100 in CPAR pledges. The race fee includes the race entry, a T-shirt, a meal at the post-race barbeque, and free babysitting. The kid?s race entry fee is $15 or $10 for those who can get any CPAR pledges.

This is gonna be a fun evenig. by the fans for the fans...lets get the
fans on stage!!!!!

This is an open stage jam with a dose of U2 Idol for anyone who’s had a
burning desire to perform their favourite U2 song on-stage. The local
Toronto U2 Tribute Band OCTOBER will get the party started right with
some rockin u2 tunes..then other u2 fans from around the world will get
up to sing or play with Ocotber or solo. Later in the evenig Brady and
Kevin from another local u2 tribute (ELEVATION)will join October and
everyone to rock on some more U2 tunes.

the set list so far is very interesting and varied...
a mix of greatest hits and songs u2 has never played live.

ONE/MPH campaign, the money generated through a raffle of U2 tickets and donated prizes will go to the American Red Cross to support the Katrina relief.
