It looks like a Las Vegas show is coming Nov. 4th.

Are those good shows to go too?

I've only been to Vegas once and it ruled.

I was at the PopMart opener at Sam Boyd Stadium, and I'm definitely be at the MGM!! Viva Las Vegas!

They'll most likely play a 2nd show on the 5th of Nov in Vegas. Man, if I was rich, I'd spend that weekend in Vegas, go to both concerts, and just never sleep the whole time I was there. That would be the best time of my life.

If anybody can afford to do this, I recommend you do and then I can live through your experiences.

I thought I was done with my u2 ticket buying, but I have to see them in Sin City.

I'll be there

Anybody know if u2.com e-mails out another access code to be used for additional pre-sales? I used mine for Glendale during the 1st round of shows that went on sale.

I have not received any new access codes since then. If anybody can answer it would be appreciated. I would like to get in the pre-sale for LV. See you there!!

I think its just one code ... if you used it then its General Sale. LV is going to be super popular so its gonna be a tough one to get tickets for. Still, I'm gonna try whenever they put tickets on sale.
Good luck everyone :)

All the casino hotels have already boosted their prices for this weekend in anticipation of the U2 boom. Check out hte prices at the MGM. Wow.

Hampton Inn it baby...just made my reservations. $130 a night.

I've been watching the MGM rates on Expedia's travel site for the past few months (in anticipation of a U2 announcement), and it's probably gone up about $100 in the time frame, but it had nothing to do with U2.

Methinks as soon as the concert is officially announced, the prices will get jacked up. Book now!

Saw them in Elevation Tour and hope to see them this time too. :hyper:

Screw Vegas come to Winnipeg. Thats where the hot chicks are at.

when are they going to annouce the Winnipeg conncert?

Great news! Now I wish I hadn't already used my presale code for the 3rd leg!!

I wonder how the MGM Grand will handle the GA line? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.. I believe the only way in/out of the MGM Grand Garden Arena is through the casino. I've only been in the arena a couple times and don't remember seeing doors leading outside. You have to go through the casino. I doubt the MGM will allow fans to line up all day inside unless they can be kept away from the casino area.

I can finally have peace in my life again.
The MGM sucks, it is not at T & M because of the PBR...and that is why room rates would be higher. Only in Las Vegas could you have U2 and a bunch of shit kicking cowboys riding bulls on the same weekend!!!

I'm not sure what you're referring to with doors only into the casino. Only once did I have some rent-a-cop guy say "you can't go out those doors" so I just told him I had a medical condition and I was about to throw up (not true of course) if I didn't go outside immediately, and that of course ended his trying to prevent it, but other than that one time, I have gone in and out all the time. I have a way I go out of there, and in there, that isn't through the casino. I especially like to leave there into fresh air, because it's hot with all those people in there, and if you're on the floor you can just open the doors and go outside, and if you're on the risers, there are still doors, you walk down some stairs to the street outside. If you are in the risers get down to the floor after a show, and go through their exit and turn left and just go outside.

I imagine they'll have the GA line outside at the bottom where you go in, there's a tkt booth there, and its where they have the red carpet for the Billboards each year, when you walk in those doors you turn right and then the doors to the floor are there. Otherwise, they probably will have it upstairs, and they aren't going to like that probably, but there is a big huge area, all carpeted so you'll be comfy, before the doors to arena. I think they'll probably indeed just have that be the GA area, but if need be they could do it outside at the doors near the arena.

I go to concerts there a lot, and they have the best tkts. They told me TM sells certain sections, and other sections are sold only by them directly. So people in Vegas, go to the box office when they're on sale. I love going to shows there, its so fun before and after, everybody gambles and has a great time.

I thought the rodeo finals were in Dec. Usually they're on at the same time as the Billboards, which I go there every year, and its filled with cowboys, real ones. Aren't the bull riding finals at the Mandelay? Is that what you're referring to, and they're earlier than the rodeo finals.

U2.com told me only TM can "reset" our codes. Even tho U2.com told us that those of us who were Prop members can buy more tkts. TM said they have nothing to do with it, and only U2.com can "reset" your code not them. So that's typical, a big Catch 22.

We're all be there!

You better believe it. Rates have been rising in Vegas for a while, by a lot. When I went to see Josh Groban, HUGE hotel rates, over $600 a nite at most of the regular hotels, and $900+ a nite at Venetian, Bellagio, etc. Sign up for the hotels, where they send you emails, and especially the MGM has some great deals they only let their players club members have.

There's cheaper hotels too, no need to spend $$$ especially if you don't plan on sitting in your room that often. The Sahara, Stratosphere and Circus Circus have great rates!

I checked circus circus and they're over $100 for that weekend. On other weekends they're at 85. So i guess vegas is much higher on the weekends and even
higher for the weekend U2 will be there

anyone know when the public sale will be? Will it be on ticketmaster even, I heard Oakland isn't on TM.

there is no fucking way any hotel quoted you 900 a night for a standard room. and you have to actually gamble with those player cards to get the deals. they aren't going to discount or comp anything unless you play. a lot.
