I got there at 5pm and was lucky enough to get into the ellipse. I had just as much chance of getting into the ellipse as the people at the front of the line. The only thing to watch out for is not to get there too late because they keep randomly drawing for the ellipse until they run out of elllipse wristbands.

ok so im thinking i come to work and leave at about 12 to be in the line cause that way i get to be a part of the experoience and i may get a good spot outside the elipse if not in

I arrived at 7:40 am #113 in the line. They split us into two lines relatively early. Even though I had presales/fan tix, the nonfan line had two turnstiles vs. one for the fanclub line. I decided to stay in the nonfan line. This line moved much faster.

My ticket did not buzz Vertigo, but my friend's did so we were in the ellipse. There were a lot of people who still kept coming in even through the opening act. But I'm still glad I waited in line given the chance to be on the outside rail.
