how did TotalTickets.com get so many tix?

i'm sure lots of you have seen this site since it was emailed to all intereference members:

how is it that every U2 show sells out in minutes, but these guys have a virtually unlimited supply of tickets to scalp to people (all at OUTRAGEOUS prices)? also, what's the with interference.com?? why are they promoting this resale site so much?

Just about every ticket broker website shares the same inventory - the same exact tickets. They use a site called eventinventory.com to do this. These ticket inventories are made up from different contributors (and there are plenty of contributors). The broker sites just get a commission for selling the tickets.

As far as interference promiting the site, obviously they are getting a fee for directing people to that site.
