You sound like you speak from experience.

OMG, the quart size bag thing has been like a complex math equation. I'm still not sure I've got it *all* in there righ!

i'll report you for contraband next time! :madwife:

my cheapo quart sized bag broke open on the way home and the security woman was nice about letting me still keep it in my carry-on.

as long as you don't have any one container over 3 oz (or 3.7 now, i guess) you'll be fine. i brought eye drops, hand sanitizer, hand lotion, and chapstick in my quart bag. oh, and disposable wash cloths.

I've just returned from the mall on quest to find small sized versions of all my stuff (I'll admit to needing a lot of stuff). I've got a practice sized quart bag and things are not going so well right now

powdered foundation/bronzer/blush/eye shadow don't count right? Otherwise I'm in trouble.

I'm assuming that lip venom is a big no-no

Powder foundation should be ok as long
as it's not creamy. I use mineral foundation so that's ok.

Anything liquid or creamy, you must in the bag and has to be 3.4 oz or less per item in the bag. Bag must seal.

Can my make-up be in a make-up bag (non see through). I'm checking my luggage in... I'm so confused, but I do have the miniature toiletries issue settled. I have this giant bottle of toner, but can't find a frickin' small container to just pour a few ounces into. Maybe I'll end up using a film cannister :grumpy:

I understood  Just didn't think I needed the giant container of toner for a 3 day trip...

You don't!

LOL!

I haven't even thought about my toiletries at all.

My son dumped some of my makeup so I gotta see if I have enough.

Contact lenses soln which I will check.

My plane leaves in 48.5 hours........................

[atu2] **Honolulu Advertiser: 'Disneyland-like' Lines Await U2 Concertgoers
Derek Paiva

Diehard U2 fans angling for prime stage-side field positions at
Saturday's Aloha Stadium show may be, to paraphrase one of the band's
songs, stuck in a line that they can't get out of.

Fans with general admission field tickets will be allowed to line up
outside stadium turnstiles from 6 p.m. Friday and remain overnight.

Stadium entry won't begin until 5 p.m. Saturday, when general
admission and reserved seat ticket holders will be admitted in
separate lines.

"The (general admission line) will be cordoned off, so there's no
question who's in what part of the line," said Aloha Stadium Authority
spokesman Patrick Leonard. "We want to ensure that when we finally let
people on the field that it's not going to be a running free-for-all.

"It's going to be very orchestrated. We'll have security and ushers
guiding people down to field level to make sure there's none of that."

The general admission entry plan mirrors concert promoter Live
Nation's procedures at other stops along U2's Vertigo Tour, Leonard said.

"They have a very detailed venue safety and security requirement that
they shared with us," Leonard said. "We've been meeting with
representatives of the promoters to go over this procedure. ...
They've assured us that this has worked at hundreds of venues around
the world."

A food and beverage concession stand near the general admission ticket
line will open at 6 p.m. Friday and remain open until showtime Saturday.

Restroom facilities near the concession stand also will be open, and
portable toilets will be provided.

Security guards will monitor the line until the stadium turnstiles open.

The stadium's lower Halawa lot, across from Stadium Mall, also will
open at 6 p.m. Friday to allow overnight parking at $5 per car. If the
lot is filled, other lots will be opened for overnight parking.
Tailgating will not be permitted at any time.

All stadium parking lots will open at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

No one will be allowed on stadium property before 6 p.m. Friday.

Prohibited items include weapons, fireworks, coolers, air horns,
umbrellas, cans, bottles, or any outside food or beverages. Backpacks
and purses will be allowed but will be inspected, possibly delaying
entry. There will be an express lane at the turnstile for fans without
bags.

"Dress comfortably, because it's going to be a long evening," Leonard
advised folks planning on waiting in line overnight. "I'm sure it'll
be fun for some. But obviously, if there are thousands of people, it's
going to be an interesting evening.

"Bring a toothbrush."

Are THAT many people really camping out? Somehow I don't get the feeling there's going to be thousands camping out like in Monterrey...

I don't think so...........................

Monterrey was crazy and camping started 2 nights before the big event so...........................

and then the crowd just grew and grew and grew...........................

plus we got to hear sound check, basically another concert but outside....

so more people came out

Ugh, I hope there aren't a lot of campers. I'm getting nervous about the hugeness of stadium GA.

Hey if we set a mouse loose in line I wonder how many people will run away and lose their spots

I'm really not too worried about it. I think things will probably start getting real crowded around noonish on Saturday actually. We're getting there at a great time, I'm sure we're gonna have an awesome spot!

Not gonna work!

In Boston, there was a huge rat outside and we were like OK.

WE shouldn't be too worried..................

It'll be fine!
