U2 has said that they will always play Streets because no matter how poorly the show is going, it always changes that. its also clearly the least tired of the 80's songs live.

With the exception of 4 or 5 songs, that's a pretty upbeat setlist.. do you think they could maintain that sort of tempo for 2 hours?

I havent figured out my setlist yet, i want to give it some thought, but one of the best combos i can think of is bullet into love and peace...just for kicks i crossfaded the elevation boston version of bullets with love and peace and its sooooo awesomely creepy to hear bono say ' and we run into the arms of america' as love and peace fades in.

I agree with you on that. It could open the encore, but bullet did that last tour. maybe they will go back to the joshua tree dark section where exit was played.

I personally will be happy with what ever setlist they choose, since i will be attending several shows . People complained about the elevation set, but I found it amazing. Their last 2 previous tours, although great, were too scripted (zoo tv/popmart). But I will say that BTBS, Stuck, Sunday, Follow, Bad, UTEOTW won't be played. Maybe as alternate songs. I smell a return of Gloria and Electric Co. The streets will most likely move to the encore. Hopefully they will close the show with 40 (full band including the adam/edge swap). Once a get a true feel for the album, i'll come up with a set.

Actually, I think that the drumsticks followed by the counting are what make it a good second song -- after being blown away by the band's entry on the first song, the pace continues (and maybe even gets harder and faster) with the second.
