Although i wouldnt be surprised to see Love and Peace or else back in the set... along with COBL and Vertigo, it has been a highlight among the new tracks... so Bono pounding on the drums one last time doesnt to me seem to be beyond the realms of possibility...

It happend last year in East Rutherford......It was awesome!

I think It would be fitting to end the Vertigo tour with Vertigo....though it seems, about 99% of the universe population says no.....I bet Mars residents are pissed they didn't get the Vertigo Tour.

Not really. Maybe a special song, e.g. 40 to close Popmart, but the final concert on a tour tends to stick to what has been played on the most recent leg of the tour.

Green day doesn't have to play on the 9th so maybe they ll pop up for Saints...

I don't think they will. They've stuck with just two songs in that position this entire leg. I think if they're going to expand the set, it'll happen in the second encore.

That said, if they're going to expand the main set, I think it's most likely to be an extra song added to the two either before or after Beautiful Day as that has generally been the most flexible part of the main set.

I do wonder if we will get BOTH Bad/One Tree Hill AND Love And Peace Or Else though ...

Yeah, after all, Monterrey got SYCMIOYO/Bad/LAPOE.

... except the band thought it didn't work. So that's part of why I was REALLY surprised to hear Bad mid-set in Auckland.
