AXVER - question for you

Hey -

I used to look at:

http://www.puremedia.ca/u2/history.html

For the stats of the songs being played on this tour, but they stopped updating.

I think you have a similar page, don't you? Do you list all the songs played in a spreadsheet form?

Curious, could you send a link?

Thanks.

We don't have a page quite like that, no. The closest thing we have is the all songs played section: http://www.u2-vertigo-tour.com/all-songnames.html

But that just lists all the songs U2 has played over all tours (if you go to each tour's page from the menu at http://www.u2-vertigo-tour.com/all-u2-tours.html you can see song stats for each tour and each individual leg too). And, of course, it's not a spreadsheet.

We're always open to suggestions for new features, though ...

"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

Hey Axver, just been looking at your listings, great stuff.

I also think I remember Bono snippetting Madonnas 'material girl' at some point. I've a feeling it was during the pop tour, just before they played 'last night on earth'

I can't be certain off the top of my head though whether I heard it on an actual bootleg, or it might have been on a radio documentary.

Further to my last post, I have had a check,

13 Sept 1997 - Barcelona - Macarena Out of Control.

Bono sings "I'm just a material girl, In a material world' at the start of Last Night on Earth.

And thanks! You may be interested to know that this is the first snippet we have recorded in Last Night On Earth. That's one quirky snippet too. Not that Bono's a stranger to those ... check out the Mysterious Ways snippetry here: http://www.u2-vertigo-tour.com/show881.html (and yes, he really does sing the chorus, I picked this one up myself)

A bit of a combination of and if you ask me.
