"All I Want Is You" as a closer
I had predicted this in my popular make your own setlist thread, I always thought that it would be a great closer, much like Bad. However, the song with the audience singing "You..." as a closer would be great... as the song fades out.

you have to be kidding me. vertigox2 instead of all i want is you?
that's 7ust not right... all i want is you is a masterpiece of a song, and to have it close a concert is good stuff. |

I'll take an epic, dramatic conclusion (AIWIY) over a throwaway rock tune (Vertigo) any day of the week. If U2 want to end on a rocking note, I have one word for them: Gone. Rock out Edge's solo with Larry thumping his drums into the ground. That's how you close a rock show rather than with an insipid "yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah".

Why even debate it? "Bad" and "Walk On" are the ultimate closers........anything else ranges from good to absurd.
