After Instant Karma....what next?

More country than anything coming out of Nashville today.

I'm sure U2's Instant Karma is in recognition that it will be 25 years ago, Dec 8th, that Lennon was shot in New York City.

And just to tie things up. John Lennon's last live performance was Thanksgiving night 1974 at Madison Square Garden. He joined Elton John on stage for 3 songs. You can listen to it on Elton's live album "Here and There".
 
I would hate for them to cover Imagine, a song I think is very overrated.

Plus, it's too obvious a choice. Go with something different. They've done bits of Cold Turkey before in concert, how about that one?

Yep, back in 1987 they added it on to the end of covers of Maggie's Farm.
