I was just curious - how many of our 16,000+ registered members are premium? Is there a way to find out on the member search?

Of course, not even half of those 16,000 members even post...

how true! sometimes when i'm searching for a member, you'd be astounded to see how many people that come up have 0 posts. i remember one day i sorted the full member page by post number ascending, and i got too bored hitting page forward, trying to figure out how many people registered have never posted!

i wonder what's the percentage of those who don't have any posts and such, and if there's even a way to find out (aside from searching the member pages).

But I would go so far as to say that over 50% of the regular posters are premiums, or that's how it looks. That's a hard math question, how many actually post and now many of those are premium?

maybe some day this week, when i'm really bored, i'll go through and try to count how many people have 0 posts. it won't be entirely scientific as there are people with posts that have been banned, don't come here anymore, are alters, etc. but it's as close as someone can get without taking days or months to go through each profile.

i'm curious too! so once we know that figure, then it'd be easy to see how many posters are premium.

well okay, it didn't take as long as i thought. i may be off a little, but according to my calculations, there are 10,736 people with 0 posts.

i found the first page that had people with 0 posts (i found that by going to the top posters page). then i multiplied that by the posters per page, and added the ones who were on a separate page. it took me less than five minutes.
