I see a thin Google ad right under the tool bar at the top and another thin Google ad at the bottom of the page.
I thought it was totally ad free. Just making sure. |

Thanks |

Premium Membership Renewal Messed Up
Site Administrators,
I received an email on Dec. 27th that my premium membership was due to expire "soon" (no date given, btw), and at that very moment, I re-upped my membership through PayPal. I have the email I received a few minutes later from Social Knowledge to confirm I renewed for the next year. So I am not at all pleased to log on tonight to discover that my Premium membership has "disappeared." Pretty sloppy on your part. If people are supposed to re-up just once a year, and you don't give them sufficient heads up to do so, you are causing more difficulties all around. Worst of all, however, is if the information about payment -- including confirmation that the transaction has been completed-- cannot be processed even after three days... then you just have a significant bookkeeping and/or site management issues. Can someone please address this, and email me (my PM box is supposedly "full" now, so you cannot contact me that way, I assume) with what actions you are going to take to correct this? Thanks, GH |

We've had problems lately with premiums not automatically renewing since all the trouble we've been having with the hackers. Please forward me your receipt and I'll get you set up right away.
Also, to see your exact expiry date you can go to Usercp --> Miscellaneous --> Paid Subscriptions and it will show you the exact date.

Thanks I think this issue is fixed and premiums should be automatically updating now upon payment.

We are going to run the facebook widget for a couple weeks to everyone so they are aware of it and then will set it up so it's hidden. Thanks for your patience as we roll this out.

Why exactly are you setting it up for those who PAY you to get rid of the ads? It feels like a hit in the face to me. I pay to get rid of that shit, yet now I'm AGAIN stuck with some stupid add that you feel I must see. Aren't we able to judge for ourselves what we want to see and what not?If I want to see ads, I'll turn them on. I don't give a shit about facebook and don't want to be reminded of that stupid site every time I post here.

I use the quick reply box for most of my replies. I guess I'm gonna have to start using the reply button then.

Is it really that big of a deal to get so worked up about? It's actually not an ad, as in collecting money, it's a networking feature. In any case, Andy already said that its only going to be there temporarily.
