help with avatar

I am new so forgive me but when I edited the profile, I put in the url of my pic for my avatar and it still has not changed.

You have to click the box for 'custom avatar' before you enter the url. If you don't the one you originally chose from the forum list will remain. Also, if the URL is not valid or the file is too big, the old one will not change.
