Advertising

In the FAQ/Rules thing, it says advertising your own website is frowned upon. Well, what actually constitutes advertising? And what if isn't your website but somebody else's well-known one?

What I'm really asking is, would a thread like this be acceptable:

Aw wow! [insert name of well-known, perfectly respectable website here] is amazing! Anyone else love it?

If its a well known site, from a music band or something, by all means that's fine. We just dont allow members to start threads advertising or talking about their own website or forum.
