i was SO excited forgot to post the details:
It was a COMPLETE SURPRISE to me b/c she didn't tell
(I guess most people EXCEPT the 2 friend who probably knew
what would be done b/c they have various medical experiences
beyond your average joe/jane ) anyone.........
and it makes sense but I didn't think of it......
They take a Scan before the Radioactive Iodine
Treatment <which I was surprised it was a pill, not a liquid> !
wellllll DUH! No kidding for a BASELINE!
ANd so instead of 8 days from yesterday when she would
have the body scan to see how the treatment worked---
she was CLEAR already ! WHich they had mostly expected her to.
She took the treatment....... and while they made sure it wasn't too little ,
they ALSO made sure it was NOT TOO MUCH.
I think she got the 2nd lowest level dose.
she's sitting quietly around yesterday and today She has a beautiful near by park AND it's finally Gorgeous Weather here again as well!
She can go and seat on a bench not close to people.
By Sat night she can go to a movie and by Sunday a restaurant!
then x days later she can hug people again!
