Protecting my eyes ARRRR!!!
I finally managed it, some people on here know my lousy luck when it comes to meeting Bono 
Last night or should I say early this morning. It finally happened. I met Bono. 
We had a bit of turbulence on my flight ( which scares the beejeezus out of) but we had a good landing. I was so excited getting to the airport. Although I was tired my little heart was beating frantically in excitement.
Managed to get an early check in and get shower. headed out for some food, then got to HQ for 12.30pm. It was warm and sunny but a bit windy. I got dust in my eye and couldn't see for about an hour, thank god they didn't arrive then.
The band started arriving about 2pm. Bono first, Adam, then Larry.
We were in for along wait. Everytime the HQ door opened we nearly had a heart attack. Lots of different nationalities were waiting. Spanish, Italian, an American, Polish, and some irish people turned up towards the end of the day. The Italians had brought a guitar and were playing and singing for a while to keep everyone entertained.
Alot of people had to leave before they came out. By the time the band came out there were 8 of us left.
Larry left first and drove straight out of the garage.
Next the garage door opened and Bonos car was there but Dallas was just moving it. A false alarm. He was really revving the engine, it sounded a bit ill. 
Next Adam left. I went over to him he looked really, really tired. He said he was just going to head home as it was really late.
About 12.15pm Bonos car was coming out the garage doors. I was so excited and prayed he would stop. I got to his car first and he rolled down the window. I wa like "Hi Bono" God knows how i remained so calm.
