You know it's time for a new U2 album when we start playing songs like "Touch" and "Boy/Girl" to keep things fresh! We're playing three sets this Friday at the Blackthorn Tavern in SF, and the middle one will be a spotlight on the sights and sounds of The Boy Tour. It's loosely based on their May 15, 1981 set from San Francisco (check out the story behind that show here: http://www.u2tours.com/detail.src?ID=19810515) and inspired by some some great footage we've been watching on YouTube (check our homepage).

Anyone know where Bonalmost can borrow a fluffy white pirate shirt? ;-)

Thanks! It's a full circle kind of thing. When I was a kid, U2's album covers got me interested in graphic design. As an adult, I'm an Art Director who gets to pretend to be Larry on weekends and I often find myself recreating the same art that set me off on this career path in the first place. It's fun to get back to my original inspiration on a regular basis like that, and I thank you for your kind words.

Have a great show tonight!
Sounds like it'll be fun.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to come.
Because I'm having visitors over from the Netherlands.
