Actually I've noticed lately that Twitter does a pretty good job of finding it and deleting the accounts pretty quickly. Lately I haven't had any new spam and the few times I do, by the time I go there to block it, I find that Twitter has already deleted the account.

Twitter's great but you do have to be careful for the spamming.

I have it, and I use it to follow a handful of interesting people from the worlds of entertainment, news and politics, but I don't really post or solicit followers. I doubt that anyone gives a rat's ass that I'm going to the mall or cleaning out my cat's litter boxes. No one needs to be privy to the minutiae of my life, and I wouldn't inflict that upon anyone.

I'm actually enjoying the following part of it more than I thought I would, though. It's a great way to stay current with what you're interested in.
