BONO LOVES AMERICA



Irish rocker BONO has always enjoyed a rich love affair with America, because he finds the country a cultural inspiration.

The U2 singer gets angry when he hears other musicians complaining about having to travel to the States and performing there.

He says, "Waking up in Memphis, Tennessee, where Stax was born, or where ELVIS PRESLEY cut MYSTERY TRAIN or where MARTIN LUTHER KING was shot dead is not crap.

"America is just full of possibilities. Nobody buys their cars anymore so it gets angry and EMINEM happens - one of the great writers of the age comes out of Detroit."

We all know Bono always loved America and I can understand why. I just wish he loved Europe a little bit more.

According to an article in this months Spin magazine, Bono was just recently at Eminem's 'Shady National Convention.'
There's a small pic of Bono holding up a peace sign and underneath it - it says
" Eminmem stole this song from Dido, Tonight we're stealing it back."
sounds familiar doesn't it.
Only it doesn't say which song he's referring too??

The Shady convention is suppose to be already showing on MTV. But I haven't seen it scheduled on any listings.

Another small blurb in the article: Spotted at the show: U2's Bono, who skulked around sans bodyguards and Donald Trump, who had enough human shields to aid Bono as well if anything ill went down.
