In one week the nominees for the 47th annual Grammy Awards will be announced. As recently reported on Interference.com, U2's "Vertigo" is eligible in several categories.
The official Grammy website has posted the following update on the February ceremony:
The 47th Annual GRAMMY® Awards will be presented in Los Angeles at STAPLES Center on February 13, 2005. The show will be broadcast on the CBS Television Network from 8 - 11:30 p.m. (live in the East, tape delayed in the West) marking the 32nd consecutive year the show will air on CBS.
Nominees will be announced on Tuesday, December 7 at the Music Box @ The Fonda, 6126 Hollywood Blvd. Hollywood, Calif. Media credentialing instructions will be posted at www.grammy.com immediately following the nominations announcement, so please check back for more information and credential instructions at that time.
