Nine Days to Go Until the Real Thing

Incomplete versions of the new album turned up online at the weekend – thanks to the help of fans, many have now come down.

U2 fan sites have been a great help in identifying online pirates distributing dodgy versions of new recordings - keep up the good work!

The real thing - the first new U2 studio album in four years - is just nine days away [11 in North America] and will be well worth the wait.

As well as a set of great new songs, there’s a special Double Album CD/DVD release which will include the documentary ‘U2 and 3 Songs’ interview footage with the band and performances of new songs from the studio in Dublin.

And there’s also a fantastic ‘Deluxe Limited Edition’ of ‘How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb” - with CD, DVD AND an amazing colour hardback book produced by the band. It features extracts from band members note books, original paintings, illustrations and photography along with quotes and statistics.

Roll on November 22nd!

If the things we heard were incomplete, there may be hope for All Because of You after all I hope the one on the web was Edge's CD or something and the real album's tracks are more complete

I did notice that Bono's voice was a little sketchy in a couple tracks...maybe they fixed that up?

I'd really like for them to have upped Original of the Species...they really could have done a lot more with that song and move it from "fucking good" to "U2 Classic".

and the scratchy sound before the solo in Miracle Drug is kinda disturbing
