Win a Trip to See U2 in Vegas
WestJet, Universal Music and exclusive newspapers† across the country are offering a chance to see U2 live in Las Vegas for their November 5th show at the MGM Grand Hotel. To play, simply pick up the weekend edition* of your local newspaper† and get your Game Card. Then collect the album covers from the newspaper each day to fill-in the play area, complete your entry and send it in for the weekly draw.
Weekly Local Prizes
In addition to the weekly national Grand Prize, each participating newspaper will draw for local prizes: a U2 CD/DVD library collection and a mounted U2 tour poster.
Week One: Game Card will be printed in select newspapers† October 8, 2005*. The first album cover will also run somewhere in the newspaper that day. One album cover will be printed each publishing day until October 14. Collect all 7** in order to enter and get your ballot in by October 19.
Week Two: Game Card will be printed in select newspapers† October 15, 2005*. The first album cover will also run somewhere in the newspaper that day. One album cover will be printed each publishing day until October 21. Collect all 7** in order to enter and get your ballot in by October 26.
† Participating newspapers are Times Colonist, The Province, Calgary Herald, Edmonton Journal, Leader-Post, The StarPhoenix, Winnipeg Free Press, National Post (Toronto edition), The Windsor Star, Ottawa Citizen and The Gazette.
* The Province prints the Game Card and the first album cover on Sunday, October 9. For Week Two, the Game Card and first album cover appear on October 16.
** The Province, Leader-Post, The StarPhoenix, National Post (Toronto edition), The Windsor Star will print 6 album covers (one per publishing day). For newspapers that don't print on Thanksgiving, two album covers will run on the day following the holiday.
