Celebs Model Charity Clothing Line

Clothing firm Gap are using celebrities as their latest models, only this time it's for a good cause.

Jennifer Garner, Penelope Cruz and Don Cheadle are among the stars who are donning a special line of clothing, half the proceeds of which will go to the charity RED.

RED is an initiative co-founded by U2's Bono, which donates funds to African women and children who have been affected by HIV/Aids.

The line includes limited edition jeans, accessories, hoodies and T-shirts.

The ad campaign was shot by legendary photographer Annie Leibowitz.

"People can wear the clothes and know that they are actually doing something for the world," says Oscar nominee Cheadle.

"It's a great way to merge fashion and activism."

In the adverts, Jennifer Garner can be seen wearing her parka inside out in order to show off the slogans on the underside.

Meanwhile Penelope Cruz models a 28 dollar (£14.99) T-shirt.

I was so happy to see in the newest Rolling Stone magazine that the 1st open pages is for (RED) .. Mary J. Blige is the model. Also, in the issue there are a few U2 related articles..one for (RED) and another about U2 by U2.
