Reminder: U2 Not in NYC for GMA

Interference.com was sent the following note from a "Good Morning America" staffer about U2's appearance on the show tomorrow:

I'm an employee for Good Morning America. I've been reading the news forums on your site and it seems that many people believe the GMA U2 show will be held in NYC. Unfortunately for those fans, the U2 concert has already been taped in Chicago and the band will not be performing anywhere in New York City on Friday May 20. Please post this information on your site so that people don't show up in Bryant Park on Friday. Thank you.

they taped an interview segment on the floor of Continental Airlines Arena wed. afternoon w/ diane sawyer.

any idea when during the show they will play the u2 segment
for that matter do you think it will be a segment or a series of segments
i almost think they'll try to play either one segment at the end of the show or several through out to retain viewers
your thoughts?

Wake up to U2 playing live tomorrow morning on 'Good Morning America.'

U2 will be on air between 7:30 and 8:30 on the ABC show and as well as live footage of three songs from last week's Chicago shows, the band are also interviewed by Diane Sawyer.

And there's more. Two more songs on the show on Saturday morning!
