To coincide with U2's upcoming shows in Chicago, The One Campaign, the national drive to get 1 million people registered to speak out on global AIDS and poverty issues, is holding a variety of events in the Windy City.

ONE Week - May 7th – May 12th

May 7th – One Gathering

Depaul University Quad, 2-4pm

May 8th – ONE Women’s Tea
Meet with women to discuss how AIDS and poverty affect women over tea and snacks
11 S. LaSalle St., Suite 1200, 3-5pm

May 11th – ONE Presentation at the Humanist society
“From Charity to advocacy”, 7:30-9 pm
Kreves hall, DuPage Unitarian Universalist Church in Naperville, IL

May 12th – ONE Campaign Gathering

We are having a SF Bay Area One meeting on May 7th. I think there are about a dozen people coming together to discuss the campaign and to work on planning some events this summer. Stay tuned!
