Bono presents NME award to Geldof with four-letter tirade


Bono shocked the organisers of last night's NME Awards in London by delivering a tirade of four-letter words.

The U2 frontman was introducing Bob Geldof, who won the Hero Of The Year Award, when he uttered the word 'f**k' a staggering 14 times.

He said: "Bob Geldof has told me to f**k off perhaps hundreds, maybe thousands of times," before repeating the profanity over and over again.

He concluded by saying: "Thank you very much for this award and to my friend who is picking it up in all our honour - f**k off."

Christian or no christian he still takes his faith very seriously and in the world of Sex, drugs and rocknroll, he has lived very Christian like, everyone at times gets a little tipsy, swears, lusts, it doesn't mean they only practice their values when they want to. Christians do make mistakes and have slips of the tongue, the only person he has to answer to is the man upstairs. If he is the christian he is I am sure he will ask for forgivness....
