U2's "One" Voted Best Irish Song

Today FM listeners have voted U2's 'One' as the Best Irish Song From The Past 25 Years

Having totted up the 7,000 votes that have been sent into the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show since January, Today FM have confirmed U2's 'One' as the Best Irish Song From The Past 25 Years.

The rest of the top 10 stacks up as follows:

2. Sultans Of Ping FC - 'Where's Me Jumper?'

3. U2 - 'With Or Without You'

4. The Pogues - 'Fairytale Of New York'

5. The Corrs – 'Runaway'

6. Paddy Casey – 'Saints & Sinners'

7. Stockton's Wing – 'Beautiful Affair'

8. Christy Moore – 'Ride On'

9. The Saw Doctors – 'N 17'

10. The Frames – 'Revelate'

Of course, "One" would be voted the BEST Irish song of the last 25 years.

What I am surprised is that a few more U2 songs didn't also place in the top ten!

And no Cranberries?

WE GET TO CARRY EACH OTHER....
