yeah, i say we HANG whoever wrote that inaccurate piece of shit.......................!

i look forward to seeing the performance but honestly don't feel U2's recent output is worthy of any awards...

they're actually nominated for 5, not three... and i highly doubt they win album of the year. that's going to kanye:up:... or mariah :barf:

not 3? is it 5? Oh............................., that shows how much I love such competitions...........................

The Duet with MJB and U2 was Fantastic, how can that be a bore to anyone??:eyebrow:

I hope they perform more than just "One". MJB almost makes this song her own but for U2 it is getting kinda old.

I really hope they also open the awards with COBL!
(Oh, you look so beautiful tonight!) I want to see them rock out!

this sucks. you know they're going to perform "One". i was hoping for "OOTS" instead. no need to watch now, i'll just look online to see if they won anything.:madspit:

It would be awesome if they were to start the Grammy show with COBL, just like the Vertigo tour. What do you guys think?

Yeah that's been talked about here in several other threads. I think it would be absolutely awesome if U2 kicked off the Grammy's with COBL. Anything can happen but it's highly unlikely.

And U2 will win at least one award since they are going to perform. That's why there are so many redundant awards at the Grammy's and also why winning a Grammy doesn't mean a whole lot. The Grammy's are pretty much just a big ratings bonanza.. more show and less go.

I haven't heard the Mary J Blige version of One but look forward to it...and its the whole band, not just Bono!:dancing: Will definitely have my DVR going that night!

i think they should just open up the show with singing COBL and then just take over the Grammy's from there, ( and preferably throw in a lot of music from AB, Zooropa and Pop!!) like it's one of their concerts. Let's face it, most people would welcome the "take-over" versus having to listen to people say ......... "wanna thank so and so....and so and so...." for 3hrs. :blahblah:

it would be the most memorable show ever. hehehe, and we'd get another concert out of it

Oh, well, we're allowed to dream, right? :shifty: I'm just glad they will be performing and we'll get to see them again, now that the 2nd leg of the american tour is over. I'll take anything at this point.

What day are the Grammies and at what time?

I was just thinking that even though people are saying that they will probably sing One, because they did it before, the grammy's honor the current albums, so they would have to sing something from HTDAAB. right?

So at least there is the possibility they will sing something different together.

ugghhh

I'm sorry but I really did not dig the MJB version of One. I'd rather not hear her ruin another U2 song.

...but I'll watch it anyway, I can't NOT watch it if U2's there

I actually think they will do the collaboration with Mary J and a perfomance from HTDABB. They really do have that much clout, even if they don't win in all the catagories they are nominated in.
This is U2 after all.
(Then again it's the grammys too :| )
