U2 Announces World Tour
Good morning music fans,
And what a grand morning it is, especially for those fans of the greatest rock & roll band that ever came out of Dublin, Ireland. As promised, Adventures in Rock is going to be bringing you to the shows, bringing you together with your fellow fans, showing you the U2 sights and the fantastic cities hosting our favorite band.
U2 will begin the first leg of their Vertigo//2005 world tour in San Diego on March, 28th 2005. The tour follows the release of their 11th album How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb which has sold more than 8.5 million copies worldwide since its release November 23rd, 2004. The album entered the U.S. charts at #1. The support band for the North American shows will be Kings of Leon.
AIR will be arranging deluxe 2 night weekend travel packages to opening night in San Diego (May 28), Chicago (May 7), and New York City (May 21) Weekend packages will include either a top priced seated or general admission ticket; 2 nights of posh hotel accommodations, transportation, a pre-show reception as well as local tours & events (TBD)
Package prices will vary depending on the city, but on average the top priced ticket package will be $1,090 and the general admission package $790. Prices are per person, based on two to a room.

Of course we will also be offering select European dates -- pints? baguettes? as soon as they are announced.
