HTDAAB #12 (#10) Considering the tour was postponed before this week of sales started I think its good that it hasnt really dropped.

Best of 80-90 #23 (#24) Finally, FINALLY has been re-certified at 8x Platinum (560k+, prob 600k) My estimate of 600k was right after all.

Best of 90-00 #26 (#25) Still not re-certified.

DVD

Chicago #1 (#2) Everyone made up for the delay in the tour by going out and buying the DVD now instead of waiting, I KNEW this would happen!

Slane #4 (#3) Still very good

Best of 90-00 #10 (#8)

Overall a very good result considering tour had been postponed BEFORE this week of sales, especially good for HTDAAB...
But I think most shops are still selling all the albums for less than $15 in spite of the lack of tour.

Brazil:
htdaab #17 (this is the first album chart on the official brazilian chart site for albums from 31.12.2005....i think Bomb was in top 10 during the Vertigo Tour in San Paolo)....
oots at #32 in singles chart

think bomb was top 3 in brasil because the sister of my brasilian wife told to me that all the television spoke about u2 24 hours a day all the papers, and brsil was crazy for u2,and don t forget in brasil u2 s cds have the same price than in italy so the illegal market is very big.last august the price for bomb was 16 euros

Maybe not... HMV is only one chain of stores, and big department store chains like BIG W and K-Mart are still selling all the u2 albums for less than $15...
I do expect a drop but maybe not a huge one.

Well it's not too bad considering last week's number. I am surprised that the grammys only brought about a sales jump of 65,000 albums or so. I would have expected a number in the 200,000 range over several months. I guess if it hadn't won those awards it would be selling less than 4,000 a week and of course there wouldn't have been those 2 weeks with 20,000+. It's a shame that HTDAAB won't reach 4x platinum status for...let's see...4 or 5 years at least. If it continues to sell at this rate Bomb can maybe reach 3,250,000 by this time next year. Then by the same time in 2008 it can possibly reach about 3,400,000 but hopefully there will be a new album by then so that Bomb might be able to reach about 3,600,000 by this time in '09 and possibly 3,750,000 by this time in '10 and then maybe it will be close to 4x platinum. But who knows? I don't really have any idea I am making a complete guess. I guess we should just be happy that U2 is still relevant and continues to put out great albums.

At least next week it should hit the 3.1m mark before, i'spose, dropping back off the top 200. Also, let's not forget that if this were 2002 then it would now (still) be ahead of ATYCLB (in US).
