uk albums chart:htdaab:#39(#34)

That's OK - I can live with that although I'm amazed that, for example, American Idiot (# 11) is so much higher than the Bomb 'cos Bomb is higher on virtually all the retail charts. Maybe it's not being sold in some places 'cos of the name of the album & the London terrorist attacks?

Here's the full UK top 75 results :

Albums -
Bomb : # 39 (# 34)
BO 80-90 : # 66 (# 63)
JT : # 72 (# 59)
BO 90-00 : # 74 (# 64)

Singles -
COBL : # 56 (# 37)

DVD's -
Go Home : # 5 (# 5)
R&H : # 17 (# 19)

Airplay -
COBL : # 15 (# 12)

wow bomb is still holiding up very strong here in the UK :)

has it ousold ATYLCB yet?

In UK the # 32 album sold 9,433 : so Bomb would have sold about 8-8,500.

Up untill last week Bomb had sold 293,000 in UK so far this year. So it has now sold about 301,000 this year which means it's now sold approximatley either 1,156,000 or 1,161,000 in total (it should be 1,161,000 according to my calculations)

Bomb passed ATYCLB a few weeks back. ATYCLB's UK total is now about 1,100,000.

amazing that they have passed ATYCLB so quickly

according to the new Hit List world chart Bomb climbed 3 places & sold 59,900 copies last week (or the week before) - that's about 15% more than the previous week & probably about 20K more than mediatraffic & mediatraffic say they track 'nearly 95%' of total worldwide album sales...interesting...here's the link for the Hit List world chart again :

Yes, interesting side. The Bomb has also 8xplat. (sales over 8 mio, or? - Green Day has 11 plat). Have you asked them, how they get their figures?

how is greenday 11 x plat, 3million ahead of mediatraffic, where as bomb is only 8xplat, almost the same as on mediatraffic. and coldplays weekly sales over 100k more than mediatraffic!

I was thinking 11xPlat (11M) could be a shipment figure but Bomb must have shipped at least 9M so this can't be right. Maybe American Idiot HAS sold 11M - it's actually now sold about 8.8M at mediatraffic.

The figures for X&Y & Bomb are both about 40-50% more than mediatraffics so if we believe one then I guess we should believe the other.

Bomb should now have sold a minimum of 8155M on this Hit List chart but I've only followed it for the last 3 weeks so maybe it's now close to 9M (9xPlat).

@edge3: Could you please send an e-mail to that site to get infos? It would be good know why there is such a difference in comparision to mediatraffic and if the sales on that site are the real sales? Thanks!

Not too bad considering, its hanging in there.

Yeah, that's pretty good considering there hasn't been much (if any) promotion Down Under. And with the tour reaching Oz next year i think it might well return to the top 50. Thx for getting hold of the last 5 wks VT.
