No. 7 again in Australia

U2 HTDAAB is number 7 for the second week in Australia (week 8 overall). Vertigo still in the top 40 down from 32 to 36 (week 10) - it is gold.

U2 is doing really well in Australia. Normally it would debut at number 1 and after 4 or 5 weeks be at number 20 or so. So it appears this album has a lot more staying power. The tour later in the year should mean this will be one of U2's highest selling albums in Australia as it is already 3xP.

Here's hoping anyway.

Australia has always been a good market for U2. And would you believe this - the Best of 1980-1990 was on the END OF YEAR Top 100 selling albums for 5 years in a row!
1998 - #6
1999 - #28
2000 - #69
2001 - #70
2002 - #66
It went 5x platinum at the start of 1999, i'm sure it would be about 7xplatinum by now.
