Anyone have chart news for Sweden, Lux., Chile, South Africa?

NLOTH #1 in Spain (22,132 copies sold). For a 46 million population country ,this is a disaster.(the number 2 this week in Spain sold 2,548 copies).

This is indeed a disaster!! Maybe also an effect of the huge economic problems there? And indeed like someone else stated CD sales are really really low there the last years... The Dutch bought 3x more albums than the Spanish while they are with 3x less. So relatively speaking 9x more albums were sold in the Netherlands, compared with Spain.

34. Slovenia

NLOTH #1 in Slovenia in the first full week.

NLOTH was sixth in the first week, but it was in stores for 3 days and only available in a few stores.

Better than expected first week numbers, but I still think this album will not outsell even POP in the US. There will be a significant 2nd week drop, and the album will take all year to make it to one million sold. Grammys next year will then give U2 another few hundred thousand units sold, and then that's that. But at least they'll walk away with another armful of grammy awards.

Yes, and Radiohead sold 452 copies of In rainbutts, and don't will win any grammies, so, what is your point ?, what you want to prove ?.

(Besides of being a troll, of course).

It´s good to see that bands producing great music (e.g. U2, Bruce and Kings of Leon) are dominating the album charts.

I thought the chart position in Japan was 4 ? Mike

So, at least 34 territories where the album got to the top of the charts. This is a new record for U2 right? Personally, I don´t care whether the record debuts at the top or it takes a second week for it to get there. Number one is number one after all.
At the time, back in 2000, Beatles' One hold the record by debuting at number 1 in 32 territories. Is this still the case?
