I didn't see it go up. I just noticed it's on the rock chart today. Figures it's not the studio version. We'll probably have to buy the whole "U2 18" to get that, and WITS.

Hmmm.

Only #40 on iTunes Top Songs in the US, but #1 on iTunes in Canada. I guess our neighbors to the north have better taste in music.

I think it's a lack of advertising. Did U2 do any advertising on iTunes in other countries? Specifically on their online store?

I had no idea it was on the US iTunes.

it is lack of advertising. Really if you think about it, for no front page advertising on the Itunes store. #40 is not that bad. If was in the 60's yesterday. In Itunes UK they have a front page Advert for u218, but I'm not sure about any other countries.

They did finally post a link to it on U2.com a couple of days ago, so that should be steering some traffic toward iTunes.

If it climbs as high as #10, then it will be on the front page of the store.

So do the labels actually pay for ad space on the front page of the iTunes Store?
