IPOD and ITunes and selling out

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
I have an Ipod and I love it. I use Itunes and I love it. The number of CDs I usually buy has dropped 10 fold in the past 6 months. This is U2 staying ahead of the curve. While other artists and the RIAA bitch about mp3 and file sharing, U2 are actually doing something about it. Music is going into computers, and it's a trend that WILL NOT BE REVERSED. 3% digital sales this year. Over 5% next year, 10 years from now it'll out sell cds. Compaining about technology and those who embrace it isn't going to stop tomorrow from coming. This is brave shit U2 is doing. How is it selling out if no $ changed hands? How is it selling out when they actually sell their music CHEAPER than before? Mark my words, in 2 or 3 years this will be the norm. Who needs record companies?
