__________________HTDAAB #15 (#12) Best of 80-90 #24 (#23) Best of 90-00 #31 (#26) DVDs Chicago #1 (#1) Slane #5 (#4) Best of 90-00 #10 (#10) Everything is still going quite well, Bomb is slowly dropping but this is to be expected, and the two Best Of albums are holding their ground. The big nation-wide u2 album promotion at $15 ends next w/end about the 2nd of April, so we have one more week of good sales... |

Okay the site that archives the full Australian Top 100 singles and albums has been updated, so now I have the FULL information for all positions in top 100 since the tour promotion began.
We will start with "Week 65" of Bomb's life, as this is the week the album first came back into the Top 100, and as a matter of fact it was the week of sales that happened after the Grammy wins. Here we go... Week 65 HTDAAB #56 Best of 90-00 #75 ABOY #64 Week 66 HTDAAB #46 Best of 90-00 #83 ABOY #78 Week 67 HTDAAB #27 Best of 90-00 #62 Best of 80-90 #70 ABOY #87 Week 68 HTDAAB #10 Best of 80-90 #24 Best of 90-00 #25 Joshua Tree #67 Rattle And Hum #82 All That You Can't #83 ABOY #91 Week 69 HTDAAB #12 Best Of 80-90 #23 Best Of 90-00 #26 Joshua Tree #70 Rattle And Hum #81 All That You Can't #88 ABOY #96 Week 70 HTDAAB #15 Best Of 80-90 #24 Best Of 90-00 #31 Joshua Tree #72 All That You Can't #81 Rattle And Hum #91 ABOY #99 Week 71 HTDAAB #17 Best Of 80-90 #25 Best of 90-00 #34 Week 72 HTDAAB #24 Best Of 80-90 #35 Best Of 90-00 #40 All Because Of you performed quite well in all, spending 20 weeks in the top 100, in contrast Vertigo spent 17wks in the chart, Sometimes 14wks and COBL 9wks in top 100. Certifications are still in need of being updated, currently they are listed as: 90-00 (2xp) Joshua Tree (5xp) Rattle and Hum (7xp) All That You Can't (4xp), but at least Best Of 80-90 was updated to its current status of 8xplatinum. So far the "tour effect" even though it didnt happen yet helped to sell (these are estimates based on past sales figures) about 23k for HTDAAB, 12k for Best of 90-00, 13k for Best of 80-90, and about 3k each for Joshua Tree, ATYCLB and Rattle and Hum, the rest of the U2 albums would probably make up about 8k all up, so in total about 65k in the past 8 wks. A #25 albums sells approx 2.5k during most of the year, a #60 album sells approx 1k. |
