During the next days and weeks, I'll try to get all the infos I can find since the release of the bomb. Some of you will remember that I posted a list with the performance of the bomb in many countries and I want to do the same again because I update the list everyday. I don't post all the positions at the same time because I'm controlling if everything is right.

I don't have the chart performances of the singles, so you could post them also here. All the infos about U2 Back Catalogue are also welcome.

So I hope that we could create a great list with lots of informations. Thanks for your help.

Ok I start:

HTDAAB in Denmark:

According to the BPI, WAR did not hit 600,000 until March of 1992. I have my doubts that it has sold more than 800,000 even in 2005 but perhaps it has. "1980-1990 Best of" has really taken away from the catalog sales of the pre Joshua Tree Album titles.

I had my doubts also untill I recently saw a list of the UK's 100 best selling albums of the 80's as compiled by MRIB on 9th December 1989 : War came in at # 90 & the # 97 album 'The Christians' by The Christians apparantly sold 230K in 1987 + 560K in 1988. So based on this info (from Hit Music) War MUST have sold around 800,000 up untill this point. Also 'Picture Book' by Simply Red was # 92 & this was certified 3xPlatinum on Sept. 29th 1989.

And let's not forget the BPI certifcations are often crap especially for older albums.

ps - JT came in at # 8 (it sold 1.45M in '87 + 250K in '88), R&H was # 32 (sold 820K in '88 + 200K in '89), UABLRS was # 45 & UF was # 78.
