I misplaced some of my hand-written records...

Could those of you who kept ACCURATE track of all both ATYCLB and the singles from it report the chart numbers you have for them from around the world?

I remember making a post where I stated the CD single positions for all the songs from ATYCLB (I believe they all hit #1) but the radio chart was different, where "Stuck..." was the highest at #4.

If any of you retained info. like the above, as well as chart positions in Australia, the U.K., Ireland, etc., please post them.

Also, STING2, do you have the breakdown on the Elevation Tour (in terms of attendance, gross, etc.)?

Thanks!! :D

I do not have as complete rundown on the Elevation tour as I did for POPMART. I have most of the stats for the North American shows, but only a few for the European shows. I do know that the the tour GROSSED 109 million in North America, the total GROSS for North America and Europe was 143 million. There were 80 shows in North America but only 33 shows in Europe for a total of 113 shows. I do not have exact total attendance figures, but for North America its about 1.4 to 1.5 million for 80 arena shows. The 33 European shows bring the the worldwide attendance figure to around 2.3 or 2.4 million. 110 arena shows plus a stadium show in Italy and two Slane Castle shows, 113 shows.

So I can confirm a total Gross worldwide of 143 million and a North American Gross being 109 million of that figure. Attendance is an estimate though with a total of 2.3 to 2.4 million worldwide, of which 1.4-1.5 million is from North America.

I do have most shows though for North America and several for Europe, so if you have any questions about individual shows, just ask and I'll post the Boxscore info I have. I don't think I have posted a complete list of what I have for Elevation but I could be wrong. I may put together what I have for each show and put it in the Charts/Sales thread.

Vox,

Thanks for posting that info, I forget whether I put up any of that. Thats all I have for the the first 50 shows in America, but its nearly complete. Your European estimates seem about right. I do not have any other statistics other than the European ones I posted last year that you reposted. I'll have to see what I have for the last 30 shows in North America. It won't be complete. The important thing is though that I did get the exact GROSS totals for the entire tour and the European and US legs individually.

I just saw on youtwo.net that Pimm's ,( the Author of U2 a concert documentary who unfortunately passed away last year), friends are going to finish the update to U2: A Concert Documentary to be released sometime in 2003. It is possible they may have info that we are missing. The first edition of the book was an incredible resource on statistics and info about U2 and their live performance. The best U2 book by far.

Here are the Boxscore's I have for Leg 3 of the Elevation tour which took place in the fall of 2001 in North America. I have 20 out of the 30 shows on that leg. The other 10 were not published by Billboard.com or the magazine. For the entire Elevation tour, we have Boxscore's for 74 of the 113 Elevation shows. GROSS totals for the entire tour and various legs came from Billboard. We should be able to estimate total attendance very closely.
