The Boston Elavation DVD has now sold more than 850,000 copies, making it Universal's best ever selling music DVD of all time.

I bought the VHS so I guess that did not count towards sales. Mike is this Global sales or just sales in the USA?

This is global (DVD only) sales. The POPMART from Mexico release sold 1,000,000 in total.

Well, my Mum added to those numbers when she bought me a copy for my birthday. Hooray! Go U2.

That's cool. I'm interested to see how Slane will sell. I'm not sure how smart it was to release 2 concerts from the same tour with nearly identical setlists.

Who am I to complain though?

I get the feeling that the Slane DVD was released mainly to tide fans over until the new album. If the album had been released earlier as originally thought, I think we might not have gotten Slane when we did, or even at all.
