It was for the 1992 year with the award given in February 1993. Eno and Lanois were both credited and they split the award.

The Grammy wins this year helped to sell another 100,000 copies of the BOMB here in the United States.

It does not appear to have effected sales outside the United States though. This is usually the case with the Grammy awards in the United States.
