I don't mind Hewitt now (he's so much respectful) since Tomic is here, but seriously, you would not be supporting him if he wasn't Australian.

There is absolutely no upside to him, he is a glorified pusher under the banner of 'crafty', thinks of himself as 'smart' and he shows shit sportsmanship. I don't see how anyone bar the patriotic, obnoxious January tennis fan could even like him.

He was the favourite for the match. If he ever wins a slam, with that dreadful game of his, tennis shall be proclaimed dead.

But he hasn't even won an ATP event so I think we're fine for now.

I like tennis but unfortunately I can't watch any Australian Open tennis because of time difference. I love Wimbledon though.

I love tennis. I watch a couple of hours of the Aussie Open before I go to bed, and the latter part of the final match when I wake up in the morning.

I'm contemplating going to the U.S. Open this year.

Now we have to suffer through one more round of hype of Hewitt and Tomic.

Raonic will be a superstar of the game but after the first set he was woeful tonight.

Thought he'd be right after that solid first set.

In the end, she was na hope.

I think Tomic is spooked, in my esteemed opinion.

But apart from the fact he's not playing very well, I really don't see what is so "dreadful" or "boring" about his game. At all. Please elaborate.

His forehand, his slices, his backhand. It's just so ... bland. It's unique, different, yeah ... but still it's not what you'd call 'beautiful tennis'. That is exactly what Goderer is showing.

I think you're being a bit anti.

No doubt Federer is a delight to watch though.
