I love that Geelong is hated for taking Dangerfield but Sydney doesn't cop any hate for taking Tippett?

Ax I saw the Senate account shouted you out earlier. Here's a question for you - name the only team to win the wooden spoon and the premiership in the same season? (No cheating.)

The 1929 finals were fucked. The Pies didn't lose a game all year until the semi finals; they got beaten by 62 points by third-placed Richmond (Carlton (2nd) beat St Kilda (4th) by four points in the other semi).

Then, inexplicably, Collingwood goes through to the grand final and gets a week off, while Richmond and Carlton play off in a prelim. The Pies eventually beat Richmond in the granny.

I know it was during the difficult depths of WWI. I think it was Fitzroy.

I dislike Tippett but he's more or less a non-entity these days. Decent player, but eh, now that you mention it, he's not really deserving of a flag either.

It's grand final day! It's un-Australian if you didn't crack open a cold one as soon as you woke up. This is the one day of the year when it's socially unacceptable to not have a beer with breakfast.

Also, Bob Murphy's delivered yet another great piece: AFL grand final 2016: Our Western Bulldog clan is uniting and the pain is fading

The one upside when he eventually retires is that we should get more of him in the football media and hopefully he will drown out fuckwits like Wankery.

Lopsided free kick count. 17-5 the Dogs favour.

Unacceptable, especially for a GF.

Maybe the Swans are playing like scumbags?

(I wouldn't know, I can't watch)
