If the NHL were smart, they'd market/hype John Tavares returning to his hometown and finally putting on a Maple Leaf sweater. Sure, it sucked that he didn't re-sign with the Isles, but it was completely understandable. The dude's a superstar and a good guy who's playing for an Original Six team. The NHL should be all over that shit.
